The Representative Office of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in Spain was established in Madrid on November 16.
The establishment of the representative office is an important step for implementing the “Belt and Road” Initiative advocated by China, and boosting the construction along the “Belt and Road” route. It aims to better serve domestic and international enterprises and promote trade and investment cooperation for companies from China, Spain and other European Union countries.
The office will proactively be engaged in tackling trade friction, industry consultation and lobbying, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of Spain, in a bid to create an efficient and fair business environment to boost Sino-Spanish trade and investment cooperation.
